I used to work in the Fire Service and was on the recieving end of sexist comments and behaviour every day. I ended up just completely ignoring the comments. Carrying on saying what I was saying or doing what I was doing as if they had not spoken. I could see they found this embarrasing and they eventually stopped. I might blog about it one day but I'm still a bit too triggered by it.
